Sickness certificates

If you have been off work for more than seven days, your employer will usually ask you to provide a fit note.

You don’t have to visit your local GP to obtain one. Our private GPs can issue sickness certificates (fit notes are generally called sick notes) to give to your employer.

All you need to do is book a private GP appointment and they will assess your symptoms and determine how long you need off work. If you need more time to make a full recovery, you will be issued with a sick note, where appropriate.

Sick notes are charged at £10 in addition to a £55 private GP consultation.

"Good experience, very professional. The building was immaculate, very modern with plenty of natural light. The receptionist welcomed me and showed me to the waiting area, she talked me through what details I needed to provide, she was polite and friendly. The waiting room was smart and comfortable. The clinician was reassuring and very attentive, I felt very comfortable and it was completely refreshing not to be rushed in and out like I’m used to with my local GP."
